Character art - Isolda and Karsten from Wolfremica

“Arctic Sunset” feat. Isolda Steinbrecher.

“Isolda! Bring my shirt back now!” Karsten Erich Kesling II seems to shout.  He is not amused by Isolda’s shenanigans.

Progress on W:AGP and a new desktop!

I've been making good progress on the fifth issue of Wolfram: A Gothic Parable.  Its progress currently stands at about 46% (rough estimate).  You can visit the blog for a teaser page, a compelling parable told by Isolda Steinbrecher to her captor Markos of Corinth.

Also, there's a new wallpaper!  I'll be adding it to the Wallpapers tab, but here's a copy of it in the meantime, in two different sizes/aspect ratios:
1440 x 900 pixels (15 in MacBook Pro)
1920 x 1080 pixels (the somewhat-standard desktop screen)

Isolda's letter

Pages 18 and 19 of Wolfram's first issue.  The pen is a gift from Karsten's father, who is a veterinarian and Isolda's doctor.

Latest Wolfram Illustrations (cont.)

I realize it is only about 10:00 PM EST on Saturday, but I thought I would show the updated page 12 of Wolfram, Vol. 1, Issue 1 (since I have no Sunday comic to show).

Wolfram Vol. 1, Iss. 1, pg. 12
Above is the same illustrated page as in the last post, but with a purely black-and-white background, since I prefer pure black-and-white to grayscale in my work.

As usual, thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

Latest Wolfram Illustrations

Sorry for not blogging this Sunday and for blogging late today.  I've been busy trying to fill out online applications and checking in with Fun 4 All on the status of my resumé.  As it is, it appears that I am not to be hired.  However, I will persist, build a relationship with the staff, and try again at a later date if all doesn't go as I'd like.

Wolfram: A Gothic Parable, Vol. 1
with mild gore obscured for blog.
In any case, that's enough about the job hunt...  If you want to know anything definitive about my progress, the best place to look is at Wolfram: A Gothic Parable, Vol. 1, Ch. 1.  I'm not sure as to what the first novel in the series should be called, but I have a name for the first chapter of the novel:  "Wolfram's Lifeblood."

Picking up after the "prologue" sequence, the latest  illustrated page is shown above.  Anime and manga fans will notice a slight influence from Japan's "whimsical pictures" ("whimsical pictures" being a direct translation of "manga").  It might do with some touching up, but I have all I need for that, too.
