I drew this one in Florida while staying with my aunt and uncle. Not much to be said about it, really.
Like the comic in
Kickoff, this was a comic that I redrew. It leads up to the story where Johnny meets his love interest, Dr. Spot, whom you met in an earlier comic, and who appears in Little Johnny's thought balloon in the comic below. I admit these comics are a little out of sequence. I'm not including the whole story of how Spot met Johnny, just because it was never published.
This comic was actually published second in the
Echo. My editor didn't like it because some of the shading was done with a brand of art marker I personally have no real use for, plus the choice of value (light/dark) wasn't all that carefully done.
