Cartoonist makes resolution.

It may be late in the year to make a resolution. Still, I come up with some fantastic and elaborate ideas that usually don't come true.

I thought I'd do something about that.

This blogsite is going to be the home of Smile & Wag: Season 2

The Eastern Echo, the paper that publishes Smile & Wag, among other student-drawn comic strips, runs three days a week. It published its first comic page, as it now appears, on 2. February, 2008.

Smile & Wag's first season will include Smile & Wag strips published in the Echo in the year preceding the Comics page's first anniversary. (The Echo doesn't publish in the summer semester.)

I will be using a different template and color scheme for each season. This season-to-season variation is inspired by the anime trend of changing opening credit sequences and opening theme songs every season. Not that you care...or maybe you do...hmm.

What can you expect to find in there...?
Um...
I really don't know.

I may be commenting on Soulwinner Ministries yearly peace- and gospel-disturbing routine. They showed up last semester and caused a stir.
I wouldn't mind them making a stir if they were actually "preaching the gospel," as they put it.

You may see better art, better narrative, and smoother dialogue and writing style, if the past year has been any indicator of my future progress. You will also meet new and experimental characters, including the deer couple John and Jane Doe, as well as a new-in-town and socially paranoid dog, who has refused to share her name with me...so far.

And, hopefully, there will be better organization on my part. I haven't been very good at updating, so I hope I do better.
