I am a patient at a small (but very good) community hospital near my home. If you've been in a psychiatric office, you know that in the waiting room, there are usually magazines to read.
Drs. Spot and Milkcowski are colleages in my comic. I wanted to use this pun with Milkcowski in a bookstore. But in spite of this being a totally unrealistic comic strip, I needed some element of plausibility for my comic to work in print.
